Questions owners ask us

Boat & yacht bottom cleaning in Miami & Fort Lauderdale, answered.

Straight answers on price, cadence and method — the questions owners and captains put to us before their first hull assessment.

How much does boat bottom cleaning cost in Miami?

Our robotic boat bottom cleaning memberships start at $5.50 per foot per month, with the condition log and anode (zinc) tracking included; the Signature care adds the master diver and the HD film of every service. Traditional hull cleaning divers charge per dive; we keep your hull permanently clean for a flat monthly rate.

How often should a yacht hull be cleaned in Florida?

In the warm waters of Miami and Fort Lauderdale, a boat hull needs cleaning every 4 to 6 weeks year-round. Marine growth starts within days of berthing and increases fuel consumption by up to 20–30%.

Is robotic hull cleaning safe for antifouling paint?

Yes — safer than scraping. Our underwater drone uses soft certified brushes that remove growth without stripping antifouling or bottom paint, extending its life and postponing your next haul-out and repaint.

Which marinas do you serve?

All marinas across South Florida: Aventura, Williams Island, Haulover, Sunny Isles, Miami Beach, Bal Harbour, North Miami, Hallandale Beach, Dania Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and West Palm Beach. In-water hull cleaning at your berth, by appointment.

Do you clean propellers, shafts and zincs too?

Yes — on the Signature and Prestige memberships. The robot grooms the flat hull surfaces; a master diver finishes the running gear by hand: propellers, shafts, rudders, through-hulls, plus anode (zinc) inspection and replacement when they are spent.

Does my boat have to come out of the water?

No. Everything is done in the water, at your slip, while your boat stays in its berth. No haul-out, no travel lift, no lost days — in-water hull cleaning is the whole point of the robot.

How quickly do barnacles come back after a cleaning?

In Miami’s warm water a soft slime film returns within days and hard growth within weeks. That is why one-off cleanings never keep a hull clean: our 4-week rhythm lifts the film before barnacles can anchor, so the bottom paint keeps working.

Do you service sailboats, catamarans and sportfish boats?

Yes. The robot works on any smooth hull — monohull, catamaran, sportfish or center console — from around 30 feet up to superyacht size. Keels, rudders and hard-to-reach areas are finished by our diver.
